I use Grammarly for nearly everything I write, not just for spell check. They suggest ways to communicate your message more effectively and let me know when writing a passive sentence. I can let Grammarly know what tone I want to convey (friendly, encouraging, formal / authority, etc.).   I expect CC hasn't allowed Grammarly to help CC users because it would not be financially beneficial to CC.  This reminds me of waiting to get an iPhone when the only phone service was Verizon. Years passed. I finally got sick of it, bought an Android. Very satisfied with my Samsung Galaxy phone.
