I'd like to be able to have event discount/promo codes run for a limited amount of time. Right now if I'm running a limited time sale using a discount code, I have to remember to go back into the event module when the sale ends and pause or delete the discount code. It seems this could be easily automated.

In the old event module, there was a checkbox you could check if you wanted to be notified when someone registers for your event. Otherwise you'd have no way of knowing unless you specifically go to check registrations on each event. Someone registered and used the pay by check option and if they hadn't emailed me with a question, I would not have known they signed up.

In the event module, I'd like to be able to add registrants to an email list. In the previous event module you could select an individual registrant and update what lists they are associated with including adding them to a new list. Ideally it would be nice to select all registrants and add them to a list in one step.

In the event module if a registrant cancels they are still counted in the overall event registration count giving the organizer a misleading account of how many people are actually coming.

In the new event module, when a participant pays by check it is not possible to change the payment status from pending to paid when the check is received. This was something that was possible in the old event module.

When looking at the list of events, legacy events show me how many people are registered and how many days there are before the event. This is useful information that is missing for events created with the new event module. Please add this information back again.
