This is a common sense proposal ... to DELETE  a TICKET. As a programmer I can assure you that it would be an easy task to implement in most development environments. I mean, it's a separate page! And in many instances, like when you are offering a FREE event (movie, presentation, documentary), you don't need TICKETS!
