In engineering, we call this a 'deprovement', as opposed to an 'IMprovement.' This is when the only way of doing something, such as copying the contents of a block from a single-event notice done in the NEW editor, to a template for a multi-article newsletter in the OLD format, is ELIMINATED FROM THE PRODUCT. The only good thing I can say about the response above is that you saved me hours of searching for a solution by admitting the intentional failing of Constant Contact. Every year, my Club has an argument about staying with Constant Contact, considering the unreliability of the editor(s) and the need to spend several hours, two night a week, to put out a weekly e-letter, now bi-weekly due this fine, fine editing product. And next Monday night, I'll make sure we have this discussion again, because I'll be damned if I'm going to retype every article I want to send out two times. PS: Does the genius who thought leaving this feature off was a good idea have a name, or was this a nameless 'not my idea' committee?

...because it's 10:45pm out here in LA-LA land, and in the middle of an e-letter I have almost ready to go, I have dragged a title block and a message block into position after the last message block in my existing email, and lo and behold, they have moved to the middle of my email. Complete with white-on-white text default for title block, and "Dear (Contact first name)" in the second in 10pt blue Georgia. One little problem...can't get either of those steaming turds to delete, edit, or move. They just lie there, waiting for my readers to step in them. I'm sure the person whose funder announcement follows them will be happy with the high quality of my e-letter.
I know I'm *always* happy with the high quality of CC's product, and especially, your evening service on the west coast. </snark>
(And my organization's head doesn't understand why I hate having the responsibility for these.)
