In the early days of CC we used to be able to add credits to photos. Whatever happened to that capability? I've managed to work around it in my work but it sure would be nice to have it back.

While I was frustrated with no captions, I finally figured out: 1. If the text I was writing was about the picture or photo then no caption was needed. 2. A simple text block under the graphic worked just fine. It would be nice to have a caption available for images, but not essential to me.

When I am working on an email and want to change an mage almost invariably when I click on "replace image" Nothing happens. I have to log out, then log back in and then it works. But the next time I want to change another image the same thing happens. Unbelievably annoying. I have tried Chrome, Firefox and Safari. All have the same problem. So I have to believe this is a Constant Contact issue unless it has to do with my three year old Apple desktop.

If you insert the three image option it comes with a caption for each image. If you look at this carefully you find that the caption option is merely a text option. But this only works if you use all three images. I have no problem using a text panel under any photo I post. The only time I find I can't add a caption is if I imbed an image in a block of text already created with the image going at the top left or right of the text. So my solution for that is to insert a block with an image on the right or left as desired. Then a text block below the image for the caption. It takes a little getting used to but I've not worried about a caption option for a long time. And we do a lot of images.

I don't know how you want to handle any text block you copy. But within the same email it's no problem. Without clicking on the block just hover over it, click on the star on the right and the copy option shows up.

No I have not found a way to add a caption under an image in a text block directly. One work around, admittedly awkward, would be to create your image with text under it. Then do a screen shot of that which gives you a new image including the caption. Then insert that new image where you need it.

I add a new text under my image and then type in a caption. Also the 3 image option provides a caption. Not sure why the others don't. But one can then delete those images one does not want leaving the one with the image. A bit of a work around but it can work.

The 3rd Generation editor has a lot of good improvements over the one I am now using. But I will not be switching to it until certain improvements are made. 1. With the current editor I am able to create a table and then control the borders of the table re thickness, color, etc. No such capability exists with the 3rd. 2. With the current editor I am able to edit the style sheet to control such things as the thickness of the overall border of the piece. I see no such capability in the 3rd. 3. One cannot add captions to photos in all presentations. I am presently experimenting with the 3rd and if other issues occur to me will report them.
