I've asked support for this at least twice before without success and have posted in the forum previously. I am now trying again: Please can you add more options to the A/B test time delay. Currently the options are 6, 12, 24 and 48 hours. Sending six hours later likely means the bulk of the mailing goes out late in the afternoon after a morning initial send; sending at 12 hours sees the mailing going out in the middle of the night; and it is not always optimal to send the following day because there might be something specific to announce. Also, I may be running late kicking off my A/B test on day one, but wanting to send it at specific time on day 2 - but instead I'm stuck with resending exactly 24 hours later. So, please GIVE US THE ABILITY TO SET THE TIME DELAY WE WANT in increments from 2 hours to 48 hours. (In order to send at the time I want, I generally run the A/B test to a portion of our list, then rebuild the list removing those already mailed so as to send at the time I want -- and that is a waste of time when sending, and makes the analytics later unnecessarily complicated.)

Hi William Most of our emails already go out below Gmail's limit so that is not a primary concern -- I simply mentioned that as something that might be a concern for others in the community. The bigger issue is that, yes, we do have a View as Webpage link, in newsletters and that shows incorrectly. It also shows incorrectly in archived versions of newsletters -- so I am laboriously having to send a live version to myself without a greeting so as to use that link in the archives - but that does not solve the View as Webpage link. Bottom line: This bug appeared 5-6 weeks ago out of nowhere (archived versions of newsletters before then are fine). Constant Contact say they are aware of the bug. I assume it must be impacting many accounts. So why is it taking so long to fix?

About a month ago, the web version of newsletters started to display my name instead of the default general greeting. This is visible any time someone clicks on the View as Webpage option at the top of a newsletter or views a newsletter in our archive -- and frankly it's really embarrassing and I would have thought would be a priority to be fixed, but it's still there. I contacted support about three weeks ago and was told that they were aware of the problem, but still it is unresolved. I was given two pieces of advice. 1) To not use a personal greeting so to avoid the issue. I do not find this acceptable given that it requires our business to compromise its communication to 100k+ each week because of a newly introduced bug in Constant Contact. 2) To send a live email to myself without a greeting, and archive that. I actually had been doing that for a couple of weeks but a) it's a pain to have to do for 2-3 mailings a week and it only solves the archive problem -- the link in the newsletter itself is still a problem -- and keep in mind that it's the web version that Gmail displays if they truncate an email that is sent. Presumably everyone is experiencing this issue. Has anyone got a resolution?

We are seeing a notable increase in CC emails being filtered to sub folders, particularly on Gmail, sometimes even going to spam. Obviously, the first step is to make sure that we are clearly communicating to new and existing subscribers to add our email address to their contact list -- but this would be so much more impactful if it was possible to insert relevant text for each major domain explaining the steps to do this. E.g. so we could give specific instructions for gmail users telling them how to add an email address to their contact list; and then do the same for the other leading ISPs, and then have a generic message for everyone else. Is there a way to do this? I know that I could filter the mailing list so as to send a special message only to people using a certain ISP-- but what I'd really like to do is build customized text for the key ISPs into the automated welcome message, and have a regular reminder in our newsletters. Hi Frankie, I appreciate you responding. This feels like it should be a fairly easy hit from a coding perspective so hopefully will be something that can be implemented before too long. Sadly, I'm only able to use the 3rd Gen editor for a very limited number of our emails but it's great for simple communications such as promotions. I cannot use it for our regular emails as the showstoppers for me are: a) the limitations on dynamic content which I think at the moment can only be inserted at the end of the URL and I need to be able to put it in the middle of a link, and I'm pretty sure it's also not possible to show the dynamic URL visibly which is an issue for one of our standard mailings. b) no HTML interface. I do understand that once you give people access to HTML they could create all sorts of issues that prevent things from working as intended (e.g. responsive design) but I wish CC would treat us like grownups and give us access to the HTML interface with suitable warnings. This is critical for one of our weekly emails which I can create in literally 10 minutes in Gen 2 as I can create a data dump with appropriate formatting directly from our website with the push of a button and upload all the info in one go. If I was to manually upload each element it would take 3+ hours a week.

I like the ability to A/B test in the 3rd Gen editor, but I wish there was more flexibility on interval times. E.g. I want to run a test now - 3pm - and then send at 9am in the morning, but there is no option to do this, instead I am tied to fixed time lags, none of which work because I either have to send too late in the evening for robust results or too early in the morning for a good open rate. If I had 24 hours there would be no problem, but I don't. Is it not possible to introduce one hour intervals (e.g. 6 hours, 7 hours, 8 hours etc) so people can test and resend any time they want?

Constant Contact's advanced search used to allow for searching within an email address. E.g. if I wanted to search for every email with the word "spam" somewhere in the email address I could do so. But for months now it has only been possible to search on "starts with" or "ends with." This is not effective for searching and removing likely spam and/or abusive email addresses which is useful for both customers of Constant Contact and, I assume CC itself, as the better customers maintain lists the better CC's overall reputation.. Please bring back the ability to search within email addresses.
