Sorry, I accidentally clicked on the envelope and my message just disappeared. URGENT!! Unable to move PNG Presidents' Day program reminder from the Library to the first page. When I sent it as a pdf, message stated it did not recognize the format. Rewording the title and removing all symbols didn't help. The PNG file is just 2 MB;the PHG file slightly smaller. I've had similar problems in the past — usually related to the fact that I'm using a MAC. In those cases, I've had to mail the copy to a support team member to load for me.

I have a one-page reminder for aprogram scheduled for Presidents' Day. I've been trying since yesterday to get the system to accept my pdf document. No matter how I modify the title,iI get a message stating the system does not recognize the format.Miraculously, it did accept the png forum, but I either can'tload it or have forgotten how to load it into the first page. I have already tried re-wording the original title several different ways, nut the system does not accept it. When I sent it as a JPG for proofreading, it immediately reached its destination immediately. The entire jpg document is just 2 MB; png. PNG file is even smaller. while I don't begrudge the support team celebrating President's Day, unfortunately, they forget tochabe their telephone access numbe to ley anyone kow they were going to be closed today.

I'm responsible for producing ads and other publicity material for a committee that plans programs for a specific segment of our organization. Other members in the organization deal with membership recruitment and similar tasks, so I haven't been paying much attention to the other services Constant Contact offers. My focus is primarily on creating materials for emailing to the 196 names on the contact list provided to us by our general office. For the most part, the only information I keep an eye on is the number of messages opened by recipients, which is usually around 40% or a few more. (But since the email is delivered to members' households, I figure spouses or significant others probably account for 25%-33% additional viewers. IOW, I'm pretty satisfied with the numbers. What confuses me is why the report often includes "Click Rates," since I don't include any links. I'm curious to know why that happens. cs

It's along week-end, so I can't ballon you for help; but I've spent more than the last 24 hours trying to load the second page of a2-page newsletter. Both the file and the thumbnail appear in the library when I first load it, but when I try to add it to the newsletter, both disappear from the Library. :{

I'm confused. Our newsletters usually contain 3 pages. saved as either pdf or png files . . . with at least one graphic on each page. Size of the those files has never been a problem until today. Although the first page had only 664 kb (.664 M I still had to reduce the size in order to load it into the library. The second page also is less than 5MB, but I've spent the last 24 hours trying to get the library to accept it. The loading icon just keeps spinning. Is there some way to delete that process and start over. . .and will that take care of the problem?

I'm getting desperate! Was supposed to post this newsletter yesterday. Still trying to load 2 pages. Page 3 did load and made its way to the newsletter. Page 2 was rejected because office, but I manage to reduce its size to less than the 5MG limit. It has made its way onto and off the library page several times (both with and without the actual uploaded image but I couldn't figure out how to get it from the library to the "Build Image" box. I believe there's a "more" tab somewhere on the first page, but can't find it. Page 3 has appeared along with page 1 several times, but isn't always visible when I return to the starting page. I'm exhausted and upset that i'm still unable to load and send this newsletter.

Page 1 is already on my newsletter. PAges 2 anda 3 are still on my computer, but ready to load as PDFs. I only remember as far as clicking on "build, but can't find "more" to continue adding pages.

It looks like my problem is an old one, which — if nothing else — makes me feel less inept. Like others, I often work on mailings during the weekend . . . and as a relative newcomer to CC, I still get stuck when problems arise. Searching for answers in the knowledge base and from the community is even more frustrating — mainly because the answers on both are rarely exactly what I'm looking for, so end up wasting even more time and energy. "Live Help," even for just 3-4 hours on each weekend day would be a big help to me.

For those of us who are new to Constant Comment, a compass would be helpful in finding our way around the site. If that's not possible, how about a flow chart showing how to find various features. Personally, I spent a lot of time trying to figure out where I was.

As a new CC user, I've been trying to import an email list from our previous website. Names on that list were already sifted thru and cleared of typos, address errors and rejections for other reasons. The resulting list contained 127 active names, plus approximately 20 more known to be rejected by AOL. The original list was provided by our membership department as an Excel file. After uploading to our CC file, it contained more than 300 names, due to listings for married couples with separate email addresses. After deleting the second address for couples I noticed in another user's message that those deletions cannot be made. (i.e. they are permanently retained in our new CC email list. Does that mean we are stuck with paying for any addresses we mail to above the 200 message l? . . . or do I have to delete the entire list and make the changes to the Excel file first before uploading the names?
