Overall, your email looks good. With a few minor tweaks, you can see your open rates increase. I also included some tips to help you design your email and increase click-through rates.

📬 Subject Line & Open Rate Optimization

🔍 Current Subject Line: “Did you know we make these?”

 

Why it may not be effective:

  • Vague — doesn’t mention what “these” are.
  • Doesn’t communicate value or urgency.
  • May not stand out in a crowded inbox.

Better Subject Line Ideas:

Focus on relevance, value, and specificity.

  • “More Than Pins: Discover Our Custom Capabilities”
  • “From CNC to Custom Decals — We Do It All”
  • “Precision Parts & Now... Custom Graphics Too?”

These options connect the email to the core brand while introducing the expanded services.

 

Preheader Text Optimization

Use preheader text to reinforce the subject and drive curiosity.

Suggested Preheader Text:

  • “Explore how W.H. Bagshaw can help you with “XYZ Produt”  more.”
  • “We’re more than a machine shop — take a look at what else we’re making.”

Click-Through Rate (CTR) Optimization

Ver all the email is visually clean and professional. Images are strong, but your CTAs are subtle.

There’s no clear “next step” for the reader.

 

Stronger CTA Buttons

Replace or supplement "View More Samples" with stronger, action-driven CTAs:

  • “Get a Custom Quote”
  • “Request a Sample Kit”
  • “See All Capabilities”
  • “Talk to a Specialist”

Position one CTA after the first set of images and another toward the end.

 

Make all your Images Clickable

Ensure each image links to a relevant landing page or contact form.

 

Add a Short Intro Paragraph

Right now, there’s no real message from the team. Consider a simple opening:

“As a 5th-generation manufacturer, we’re always evolving to meet our customers’ needs. That’s why we now offer a full suite of custom services. Keep it short but human and end with a CTA like “Contact Us Today”, “Call Us for a Quote”

Use click segmentation so you can follow up differently with customers interested in decals vs. laser engraving or machine shop services.
