What will it take to make your business successful? Everything, potentially. That didn’t deter Sonja Rasula, founder and owner of the large-scale pop-up market company Unique Markets. She believed in her business idea so much, she was willing to empty her 401K to do it.
“I do believe in the idea of go big or go home,” she says. “I wasn't going to create a little market that could happen outdoors in a parking lot. That's already out there. I wanted to create something new. I wanted to disrupt an industry.”
Sonja joins Dave this week to talk about her entrepreneurship journey, her case for using email marketing and not falling into the social media trap, and the importance of self-care for business owners. Did you have an “all or nothing” moment when deciding to start your business?
