It’s been a year of trying new marketing strategies with our Marketing Manager customers, helping them reach their business goals. Here are some of the results we saw:

Their Marketing Manager advised them to display a printed QR code linked to a sign-up landing page to gather SMS phone numbers. They placed signage at checkout counters, which drove an average of 30 new contacts monthly and a 93% yearly increase in new contacts! When they launched a daily special, sending an SMS text message with a coupon link, cars lined up at the car wash within the hour. “I think this is working. We have a line already!

 

Another Marketing Manager helped a retail client promote a Labor Day sale, driving one of their most successful holidays ever. By running a Facebook ad and a Google Search ad, they generated over $2,000 in online sales and drew in numerous first-time customers!

 

A restaurant in a highly competitive market aimed to boost its social media presence. Starting with Facebook ads, the client achieved a staggering 2,800% increase in reach, hitting 236,262 views. This drove over 6,000 visits—a 549% surge—and a 411% jump in page likes. Their Instagram page also saw significant growth: a 54% boost in reach and a 140% increase in new followers. These remarkable results demonstrate the Marketing Manager’s effective approach, strengthening the restaurant's online presence, broadening its audience reach, and fostering high community growth.

I got my company an open rate of 44% to 53% open rate consistently. Some were targeted email campaigns and others were blasts. The key was to keep the design elegant but short and sweet. I never really liked the email campaigns that I get that have too much to scroll and distracts me. By keeping it short and sweet and to the point with story telling. You can achieve great results.

A Big Win That Represents More Than Just Business Growth

In 2024, I set a powerful goal for myself: to create and invite my ideal clients into a transformational program called Love Your Business - Love Your Life Inner Circle. This wasn’t just another program — it was a dream come true. A mastermind for heart-centered entrepreneurs, crafted from the expertise of a handpicked group of experts who serve a similar audience, but in unique ways.

In the first year of reviving our now 40 year old adult learning consortium of IRP Detroit, Constant Contact was integral to our list building, sending learning opportunities and event emails, and in facilitating online dues and tribute donations. Going into 2025, we are regrowing our membership above pre-Covid levels and are ramping up activity levels coordinated on our virtual website office using constant contact to drive effective communications that link our community members.

As a public library, our main goal is to reach the people in our community and help them learn about all the amazing and free resources the library has to offer. This past year, we had our biggest marketing campaigns wherein along with the usual routes, such as posters, bookmarks, flyers, and email newsletters, we also got a billboard to try to reach more of the community who doesn't know about the library.

 

Recently, we've been trying to upgrade our style when creating emails, and constant contacts' features have been a big help. 2024 has been a good year, and we're excited to see what's in store for the library in 2025.

I started my home inspection company in 2017. It's a grind working in the real estate sector (it never sleeps!), and in a business with significant liability, where you rely on your reputation, it takes time and a lot of hard work to gain traction.

 

Then came the pandemic. After a standstill of a couple weeks when we were all trying to figure things out in California (and real estate was then deemed an “essential business”), the housing market took off like a rocket! Things got too busy to spend time marketing because I was constantly inspection, along with the one employee inspected I had (thankfully) just hired.

 

At the beginning of 2024, I had two inspector employees (and a full-time assistant). Within the first three months of the year, both my inspectors left for different personal reasons, leaving me with 1/3 of my work force (the remaining third being me!). This was a huge setback for the business.

 

I got to work hiring and training a new inspector and doing a lot of inspecting myself. I kept up the grind! At the end of the November, 2024, my new inspector is still honing his craft, but with just one employee inspector, in eleven months, we have surpassed last year’s twelve-month gross revenue by nearly 12%. And our average job size is up over 13% for the year.

 

I have big plans for 2025, but I’m very proud to have weathered the sudden loss of my entire employee work force and still come out ahead in 2024, even though the year’s housing market has been among the worst in U.S. history.
