Additional event payment options

Just wondering if square.com will be used as an option when my customers register. I really like it and it's much easier on our side and less expensive. Let me know if this will ever be an option. thank you

Hi Deborah,

Thanks for sharing your feedback. This isn't an option right now but is an interesting thought to consider. Would you like to have your registrants complete payment as they come into your event or are you in a situation where you see the people who would be registering in person ahead of time?

Hi! Yes please! Integrate Square for both pre-registration as well as tickets to be sold at the door. All in one event. Please! Please!

I too would like to see Square be integrated as a payment option.  It's easier to use than paypal for many things, the reports are far superior, and funds are deposited to our bank account daily (vs on demand with paypal).

Agreed! PLEASE give us another option other than WePay, Authorize.net and Pro Pay. Have used them all and dislike all three!! Never had an issue with Square. PLEASE add square as a payment option for pre registration!!

Please add Squareup.com as an option. Thank you for including the Event spot as part of our cost. Logan was an amazing help with our registration. John

Please consider utilizing STRIPE as on of your merchants. I currently have an account with Stripe and they deliver my funds within 2 business days. This is wonderful. Please, Please consider Stripe as a business partner.

Give us back the old views to see emails (draft, scheduled and sent) in one place and event list sorted by event start date in another. I oversee the CC marketing for our nonprofit and the old views were an easy way to make sure my colleagues had created the events and associated invitation emails.

The current views are unfriendly.  The event list has so much information that I can't see all our events at a glance without scrolling to a new page or listing 40. Several events are listed out of order of the scheduled date because the sort is by last modified.

Finally, some autoresponder email pops at the top of the list and I can't delete it.

With all these basic problems with usability, I haven't had a chance to find the improvements in this system.

I would love to be able to add a Venmo button to the bottom of our emails. Venmo is a growing social network for processing payments and donations.

Hi! It would so great if someone could register and pay via Venmo, not just Pay Pal. Lots of people prefer this and from my POV I make more $ since Venmo currently doesn't take a percentage like everyone else does (PP take 2.5% of ticket). Thanks, - Carrie

Hey @CarrieR35, thanks for your feedback! I am opening this idea up for voting. It will be great to hear how many other users it would help to add more payment options.

I would love to be able to integrate Moneris into my campaigns and events to replace PayPal with their high fees. Any thoughts of doing this in the future?

Hey @KarenP0971, thanks for your feedback! We don't currently have an integration with Moneris, however, I've opened this idea up for voting so we can get some more feedback and ideas on new integrations to offer with the Events payment option.

You say you are listening, but when I look over previous requests back to 2016 for Stripe for Canadian customers, you are not listening.  So now, although we are a long time customer, we have no choice but to move on to a new product.  Constant Contact was an industry leader many years ago, but has drastically fallen behind other products on the market and are now archaic in design and use and offerings.  I'm disappointed, as we are loyal customers, but feel we have no choice but to move on.  It was recommended by your customer service to use EventBrite, but honestly, we have a subscription with CC, so now your own people are telling me to pay $100 to get a better product.  Even your own customer service is agreeing that Constant Contact is no longer a viable option for us.

Hello @TaniaM54899,

I'm am very sorry that it feels like we are not listening, but I promise that we are. I want to learn more about what you want to use stripe for. Is it primarily just for our Events feature or would you need it for other areas as well? Is there a reason you prefer Stripe over other options that we currently offer?

Any update on the option of using Square to receive online payments? Would be nice to simplify since we use Square to accept payments at the door, but are stuck with Paypal for online payments ahead of time.

Yes, seeing this was suggested back in 2014, and still no change for payment options. Would love to have Square as way to accept payments when users register in advance.

I would like to utilize Constant Contact for online registration but some options are not provided as are in other programs. First, for the registration fee options, can this include quantity limits as available with "Additional Items"? I can use the "Additional Items" section to list my trainings but then I do not want the title of "Additional Items" shown with this section...can it be made to be flexible? Also, when guests/attendees are added to a registrant, can't the trainings be selected for each guest/attendee? Maybe I am setting this up wrong but how will I know which guest/attendee will attend which training. For the payment, I would like to have a flexible option to set-up a special payment method. I do not want to use Constant Contact to process payments as would be handled by my company's customer service. So, the ability to either create my own payment method or not have to select anything at all. Thus, only using Constant Contact to provide registrants and their attendees with a summary of who is registered for which training with a total amount due. Thank you.

Hi @ChartInc_D-SGroup_Marketing

The good news is you can set quantity of additional items and  rename title of this additional items section. As for selecting your registrant's training, how would you expect this to work? At this time you cannot select a training for guests, but we do see many users do include multiple training as separate fee tickets or even items for sale if there's one flat fee. To collect these fees, currently the only payment methods allowed are WePay, PayPal, check, or at the door. What type of payment method would you be looking for instead?

I'd love it if Venmo or Zelle would be integrated into the payment/booking tool!

Getting rid of the option to accept checks is really detrimental to those of us who have big ticket items like sponsorships to sell. Our allied members want to be invoiced and write checks, not have a cc balance.

I appreciate having both WePay and PayPal, but my client has event participants who have always paid by check...and I need to give them that option. I realize that doesn't give you fees, but I should still be able to configure that here.

please add Square as a payment option and also is there a way to set up a payment plan for clients so they don't have to pay all at once and can do it in installments of my choosing?

We need the option for people to pay with check at the door
