Anyway to specify the picture it shows when shared?

When I share this email on a social plat form, it picks the picture below and not the hero image at the top ( logo )

Is there any way to add Open Graph info as I used to do for the html editor on your tamplate?

This is an announcement email for changing name and logo to the new one so it is very important to show their new logo. Any help will be greatly appreciated!!

Or any work around.

Hello @AnneR487 ,

No, it is not possible to pick the image that’ll be associated with the webpage version of emails. If you do not like the image that a social platform's auto-generated link preview provides, it's advised you turn it off / X it out before posting, if the platform allows.

Some platforms will not include a link preview if images are included with the post. So if you're looking for a potential workaround, including the new logo with the announcement would be your best bet.

How do I do it ?
But then how about headline? I would like to have a subject line to show as a headline for the sharing link. the only way to fix is to go back to the html email?

The logo is included in the email. but the secondary image shows up in the preview instead. Please see the layout. the large logo at the top is what we want in the social share.

I looked at the source code of your template. Is there anyway I can put open graph info there like I used to on the html email code?

Can someone at CC help me out here?

Just because an image is the first to appear on a webpage, doesn't necessarily mean that's what the social platform's link preview is going to pull. Different platforms have different methods, but generally speaking, it's just a small X you have to click, or an option you can toggle off.

If you want an email's subject line included in a social post, then I'd advise copying and pasting that into the social post.

If you want to build your emails using HTML code, you're welcome to use the custom code editor. The regular drag-and-drop editor uses proprietary code, and cannot have its HTML edited.
