1. For example, how often should emails be sent? Weekly, monthly, quarterly? What yields the best results without annoying your customers?

2. What is the recommended number of emails to send at a time? Is there a limit before you are considered to be spamming?

3. How many hyperlinks should you include? At what point do you have diminishing returns?

Hello @MitchS52 ,

  1. This will vary significantly based on your industry and your audience. Our marketing advisors have a short article that addresses this, but you may want to look into hiring an Advisor for your specific industry for more precise insight.
  2. When you send emails, we do track spam reports and unsubscribes, which is weighted based on the number of emails you're sending out, your address' sending reputation, and other compliance factors. For more info, make sure to check out our Review FAQ.
  3. You should probably only include links where expected and necessary. If you have a newsletter with several individual blurbs that have larger articles on your site, you'll obviously want each one to link to the respective article. Your logo should link to your website, product images and descriptions should link to where customers can purchase them, solicitations to sign petitions should link to that full petition, etc. Again this will depend significantly based on your industry, and what it is you're trying to get your audience to do (calls to action) - buy something, make a donation, read an article, sign a petition, follow on social, etc. Regarding this, you may want to check out our article on filling newsletters with engaging content.
