Deleting the period that appears automatically at the end of "From Name"

Hi, is there a way to delete the period that seems to be added automatically at the end of the email sender's name (Ashesi University, in this case)?

When I click Email Settings, I can see that it's not included in the name (below), so I'm not sure why it always appears.

Thank you.

Hi @MatthewT0 ,

I removed the images in your post to make sure your account details weren't visible, however I can confirm that I and the higher level technical agent I spoke with are able to see the period. Fotunately, this is not something that will be affecting your actual emails.

When a From Name is particularly long, it will be cut off in the email editor visually with ellipses (...) at the end. In your situation, your From Name is just long enough / has enough characters that the system is giving a visual glitch of just doing 1 period, instead of the expected 3 for an ellipses. If it had more letters / was longer, or if it had less letters / was shorter, the ellipses would be appearing or not as normally expected.

The higher level technical agent is going to investigate a bit further since it should be defaulting to a full 3 periods regardless, but you can safely disregard this as an innocuous visual glitch in the meantime. I can confirm the period doesn't appear in your actual email's header when test sent, nor does it appear in either your account or email's settings. The higher level technical agent will be following up by email within 1 business day, to provide an update and some additional info regarding the visual glitch.
