Error in Scheduling

Hi,

Recently, I scheduled an email campaign for last Thursday and set it to be sent out today, Monday. However, it was also sent out last Friday.

 

What could have caused this kind of error to occur?

Hello @YvetteM3 ,

 

I'm seeing two versions of an email, one that had been scheduled to send Friday in your deleted folder, and the other that was scheduled today. For troubleshooting:

  • Was the email sent today (with the period at the end of its name) copied today from the email that sent on Friday? Or was it copied prior to the original sendout?
  • Is there anyone else you've granted access to the account (a coworker using your login, or the other user on the account) that would've scheduled the original email?
  • Do you remember when confirming the original sendout's schedule, did it explicitly say it was scheduled for Monday, November 18, at the time selected?

Is there a way to recover the deleted file and cancel the scheduled email today?

Both emails were already sent out, the one that sent Friday was in your deleted folder. If you need guidance on restoring deleted campaigns, I'd recommend following along with this article

Is there any impact if we send twice the same email campaign?

Technically? No. It's entirely dependent on how the contacts feel about it- whether they see it as a fluke, spam, or ignore it entirely.
