Gravity Forms and Tags

There are two questions regarding applying a tag to a contact via the Gravity Forms add-on. The first is from 2014 where they say it is not possible but on the "soon-to-be" development list. The other is from January of this year and the response is useless.

Can someone with authority tell me how to pass a tag from Gravity forms to a contact? This should be an extremely basic application but I cannot see where it is possible.

Thanks

Hello @user92513 ,

We're not the developers of Gravity Forms, so we wouldn't have any insight on applying tags to subscribed contacts gained through their forms, nor any ability to troubleshoot or test their system. If you're wanting insight or support on their system, I'd advise reaching out to their support team(s) directly.

Presumably, one of the posts you're referring to is this one. Since the only official way we have for directly importing Wordpress contacts is via our own Wordpress forms integration, our general advice for those using other form integrations/types would be to manually import the contacts. If you're manually importing the contacts into your Constant Contact account, then you can include tags as part of the file import. Otherwise if you've already imported the contacts, but would prefer to manage the tags within your account rather than re-importing the file, you can do so.
