If we have the same contact on two different email lists (for example they are on the arts council and business council) but we are sending the same email campaign to both of these groups, will the contact receive the email twice?

Hello @PATRICIAR668 ,
If you're sending a single email campaign to multiple lists, our system checks for any contacts in multiples of those lists. That way a contact is only receiving the email once (unless otherwise prompted for an automated or manual resend).

What if you are sending a unique campaign to a specific list - and the email address is present on (3) different contact lists? AND the email address is linked to a unique data (field) on each contact list - data that is being used in the campaign.
Example:
Campaign A / Contact List A - John_Doe@email.com $20
Campaigin B / Contact List B - John_Doe@email.com $50
Campaign C / Contact List B - John_Doe@email.com $100
Hello @JenniferB2232 ,
If you have the Contact Details properly inserted into the email address, it won't matter what list the contact is on if you're sending the email to them. Contact information is pulled from the contact fields (first name, last name, physical address, custom fields, etc.) You can only ever have one contact per unique email address, so if you have separate amounts for a singular contact, you'll need to setup those separate amounts as separate custom fields.
After uploading a unique Excel spreadsheet .csv file and created Contact List A - I did the same for Contact List B, and then again for Contact List C. For every email address that was present in Contact List A, B, and C - I noticed how the Gift Card field in Contact List A was deleted.
Campaign A / Contact List A - John_Doe@email.com Gift Card field = ABC-123
Campaign B / Contact List B - John_Doe@email.com Gift Card field = DEF-456
Campaign C / Contact List C - John_Doe@email.com Gift Card field = GHI-789
When you re-upload a contact, any new information in previously-filled (or unfilled) fields will be updated.
I will keep that in mind with future projects. Thank you.
In the case of this project, the previously filled fields in Contact List B were not updated when Contact List C was created. All the same fields were represented.
