Outer Background Not Showing Up

I wanted to set a color for the background with a pattern, but it's not working. It seems that I'm only able to adjust it in the left top corner by "editing the section".

It allows me to change the color there but no pattern options, those are in the Design tab that's not working.

Correct, if you use the section editor to add a different background at any point, it will override the selections in the Design tab. The only way to have access to the Design tab outer background editing is to either:

• Undo your changes until you're back to only using the Design tab's settings
• Copy from a template where you haven't used the section editor for the outer background
• Create a new template
• Continue using your draft campaign that has had the section editor used, and manually apply the base patterns as custom-imported images, as directed in this Community thread.
