Updating Constant Contact "unsubscribed"

Hey there,

The way that my work has been updating the unsubscribed customers has been through Microsoft Excel, going through 400+ pages of customer names & deleting each name without an email attached. I am new to doing this task but I wanted to reach out and see if there may be a less outdated way to do so.

Thank you!

Hello @BusterC6 ,

In our system contacts can't be uploaded without email addresses, so these wouldn't really count as "unsubscribed" from within your account's contacts dashboard. If you're needing to upload contacts into your account that are already unsubbed from you, you can import them (at least the email addresses) as a CSV file.

Otherwise, contacts that unsub from you via emails sent through us will show as such in your contacts dashboard, and are downloadable as an XLS or CSV file for your own records. Additionally, even if you delete these unsubbed contacts from your account - even though they don't count toward your billable total, some customers like to keep their full list extra tidy - you can always export all our recorded unsubs for you.
