I'd like to address each email with the first name of the contact e.g.  Hi Doug,  blah, blah.  How do I do this?

Hello @JJBlair ,

You can use greeting tags for the sake of starting your email, and you can also include contact details (name, address, etc.) in other parts of your email as well through subject line personalization and insert contact details functionality.
