problem linking a video from youtube

I created a video block in my email template. I am trying to link it to a youtube video. video is published and is public. It says generating a thumbnail and just keeps buffering. If I try to upload my own thumbnail, it just displays an X instead of the thumbnail.

Hi @JenniferL293. Can you try clicking Share on the Youtube video to get the share link, and see if that link works instead of the one in the address bar? If it doesn't work, you can use the thumbnail but try uploading it as a jpg instead of a png. Let us know if either of these workarounds help.

Thanks Caitlin. I did this multiple times today and it wouldn't let me save it. I was finally able to do it after about the 10th time. I tried every different link for the video. I don't remember having this much trouble when I have linked videos before. Very frustrating!
