Thank you for the prompt effective reply. This both makes perfect sense in one way and is utterly counter-intuitive in terms of how one might figure it out. And, I might add, no variation of trying to search for the answer turned up the answer.

Although I did not see any mention of having or not having FB and TW share links on my event registration acknowledgement page generated by Constant Contact, they are both there. My event is open to members of a club only who will be receiving the event link in email from the club. Is there any way to remove the links that seem automatically put there? Are they included because our email template has them even though in this case it's a CC-generated web page, not an email they are on.

With the new iOS settings off, photos are visible with the vpn (which I’ve used for a while without this behavior). Reversed, ie vpn off, email settings on, photos are also visible. I will report this to Privacy Pro.

Are you a bot repeating boilerplate about not getting accurate tracking? The issue I raised it that no images are VISIBLE when viewing the email. I see only blank rectangles, when I view cc emails on iPhone and iPad (and virtually any commercially generated email). I really don’t care about tracking nearly as much as I do about my email images being visible. Does “preload” mean “hide?”

I thought there were non-visible pixels doing the tracking that were not in each photo but discretely hidden in the email body. Seems I was wrong.
