You'll need to call our general support and work with them for secure assistance. Or, it may be advisable for the owner of the account you're trying to join to call in to get things figured out.
Additionally, make sure you're clicking the verification link in the most recent email sent. If you received two verification emails (one for your trial account and the other for your job account), it's possible that your email program merged them into a single thread, and is only has the one for the trial expanded with the job one minimized.
