This year, Project Safeguard has undergone some major changes, challenges and successes. 2024 was our 40th anniversary as an organization and we hosted our first ever gala/fundraising event. We utilized Constant Contact more this year than ever to gather all of our connections in one place and reach them more intently than ever before. For being our first ever year hosting an event such as this, we were able to invite over 150 guests and raise funds that are desperately needed as we face large federal funding cuts in 2025. With the success we've had this year with our event and reaching more people than ever we're hoping to do more with our marketing and fundraising in 2025 to keep the momentum going! As a small nonprofit, capacity is always an issue but finding ways to reach our community and bring them in closer through different marketing strategies has been a game changer for our work this year.
