I have emailed requesting this in February and May and have seen other people request the same thing. The surveys I send are feedback forms from our events, which have 5-6 questions and the final question - THAT WAS PREVIOUSLY AVAILABLE IN LEGACY SURVEYS BUT NOT NOW IN SURVEY PAGES - asking for name and contact info, which we label as optional info and which others may use only one or multiple parts of in their surveys.    Currently, it seems the only way I can gather that info in Survey Pages is after the final actual feedback question, create a text box, saying The following information is optional to enter, then create another 4-question survey underneath that asking for First Name, Last Name, Email Address, and Phone Number. This is a passible but time-consuming and inelegant workaround. Is there any plan at all to ever bring back the data block/name and info block/whatever it was called, or is this just another CC disappointment? ... View more

In the Legacy Surveys, one of the options under Question Type was Collect Personal Information. We use that on our surveys, but I noticed it wasn't an option in the new Survey Pages, so when I created a survey for our event on May 20, I had to use the Legacy Surveys so I could include that. I am not confident that it will help, as I am still part of other 3+ year old threads that have not been resolved but just abandoned because of your voting process, but I am still adding my voice to the complaints about the inability to adjust padding/height. For example, today I discovered that in order to get something to look the way I want it to look horizontally, I have to separate the text into a text box and then two column boxes, and doing that with no option to adjust the vertical spacing makes it look terrible with the extra space between each content block when it is all part of one article/newsletter section. I agree with Baldwin that it's fine to have defaults that you start out with, but as the creator of the content, I should have control to design something how I want it to look. With the example above, I am going to have to spend extra time tomorrow before I finish creating the email to either look into a new option from your content blocks or do extra work in advance to make an image to display here, which is ridiculous since the article is 100% text.  ... I got a comment in my email last week from a Constant Contact employee, but it doesn't show up here. He said, in part, "Some email clients like Outlook don't actually support the formatting of spacing and indentions on lists so if we were to add this type of feature, Outlook would likely not respect those formats." That's not a deal breaker for my company, as I'm not sure how many of our readers actually use Outlook, but if your organization's do, it's something to consider.  ... View more
