This is an unusual question, and I realize there may not be a solution, but I'd appreciate any feedback: We have a large number of contacts who appear on multiple lists. I am trying to understand if there is a way to differentiate/export more information about their list membership from the CONTACT side (i.e., I'm not looking for campaign activity or anything like that, I want this data across all contacts regardless of activity). For example: when I export contacts, list memberships appear in one column, comma separated. For those contacts on multiple lists, the order their list memberships appear in the export does not follow any apparent logic (alphabetical, etc). Is there any meaning we can construe from the order in which the lists export, e.g. do they correspond to the order in which the contact joined the lists? (Relatedly: is there a way for each list to receive its own column in the contact export, rather than all lists appearing together in a single cell?) Or, is there another way to export a large number of contacts with richer data about list membership (e.g., date they joined a list)? I am aware of the Contact Added/Contact Updated fields and wonder if similar data is stored for list membership. Appreciate any feedback!

Thanks for explaining re: Apple Privacy and open balance vs link tracking. Re: the first item, I am comparing the "Clicks" (number, not percentage) shown on the Reporting page (the table where all recent campaigns appear together): ... Versus both the total clicks "Clicked" and unique clicks "Links" on the campaign page (the below images are for the same campaign as the 144 depicted above (and, in image 2, the Unique Clicks on the "Links" view add up to over 500, i.e. total clicks/unique clicks in this view basically comport with each other, but not with the 144 on the Reporting page): In your first response I thought you were suggesting that changes in customers' security tools can cause clicks to be inflated generally, so I was just pointing out that total clicks/unique clicks as reported on the campaign page are significantly higher than the clicks reported on the Reporting page. If this is due to a security tool/email program issue on the customer end, it seems like it could be the case that only the data on the campaign page is affected, and the data on the Reporting page is not. I'll call it in if I have further questions.

I thought of a couple things I wanted to add to my reply: Another reason I thought this was a CC issue is not just the "jump" in clicks, but that there is a large disparity in click reporting in different places on the CC dashboard. The reporting overview page shows a lower number, and the campaign detail page shows a different, much higher number. The traffic to our site during these periods comports more with the lower number on the reporting overview page, so there might be an issue in the reporting mechanism on the campaign detail page. Another seeming anomaly in the reporting that we've noticed recently: CC reports that, as an overall average, 96% of our opens are on desktop, and 23% of our clicks are on mobile. It seems highly unlikely our mobile contacts are that much more engaged, and our analytics indicate a split in traffic from CC much more aligned with the 23%/77% split reported on our click rate. Seems likely the desktop/mobile open rate is being misreported? Thanks for any insight.

Thanks for your response. Our account is already set up for self-authentication with TXT record. I should also clarify that I assumed this was a reporting issue with Constant Contact because our email program is very consistent: we send out a newsletter from the same template to the same list at the same time every week, and it's only the last two weeks where this large click disparity has emerged. If it continues I'll call it in.

Our last two campaigns are showing conflicting/dubious click reporting. On the reporting overview page they both show clicks that are consistent with what we usually see, but after I click on the numbers to see the user details the numbers are significantly inflated (for the last two campaigns, 228 and 182 clicks are reported on the overview page, which become 764 and 602 clicks on the detail page, respectively). When I export the click detail the data seems really dubious—large numbers of users are reported clicking the same links, in the same order, which is not the order the links appear in the campaigns. Is there a known reporting issue that can explain these disparities?

Thanks @Caitlin_M. These changes appeared both in the Design tab and on the level of the block. In the templates I'm using, button style and link underline were controlled in the Design tab, and the line spacing appears to have been altered in the block (unless I'm missing it, there is not a way to alter line spacing in the Design tab in these templates). On both occasions, I've used Chrome, but to clarify, this change was effected across templates/drafts that I did not access at any point yesterday. It seems to have been an upper level adjustment to the style of all our existing drafts.

My newsletter went out this morning with formatting anomalies that weren't present when I scheduled it yesterday. I checked and all of my templates and drafts—frequently used and rigorously updated—had changed across the board. Spacing in body and headers went from 1.2 to 1.5, buttons went from Arial to Open Sans, body links took an underline which wasn't present before. What's going on? I've reverted my templates back to the correct style but I really hope this isn't going to become a persistent issue.

Thanks William. It's possible that the DPIs are different, but there is not an apparently massive difference in quality/size, no. Both are new devices, professionally/institutionally maintained, with displays set to the manufacturers' recommendations. Also, the issue is contained to the header image—no other images are affected, either within campaigns or elsewhere across the browsers and operating systems. It's likely that many/most of our subscribers are using similar displays.

Hi Amanda, Thank you, but the images in question are 600 pixels wide and 1200 pixels wide. (A number of test header images exist in our library, but they are not and have never been in use in campaigns). The guidelines here indicate that image dimensions should fall between 600 and 1200 pixels wide, which these are. Are there image or template specs that differ from these guidelines? Is there guidance on why the same image might appear differently on different OSes?

I'm having consistent issues with header image clarity in campaigns. We've reviewed all the material in the knowledge base re: image size, file size, file type, etc and the header we use in nearly all campaigns still comes out blurry in some use cases. Specifically, one version of the image registers crisp on Mac and fuzzy on PC, and another vice versa (both versions of the image comport with the CC image guidelines, both images render fine on mobile, and both were tested on Chrome on the different OSes). If there was a consistent, reliable set of specs for image upload that would be hugely helpful.
