Hi! I attended the webinar offered today with Stephanie and Carolyn. They recommended reaching out for feedback on our marketing. We're a non-profit that hosts 5 fundraising events throughout the year. The screenshots below are from our most recent send out, the fourth regarding this upcoming event. It has a 42% open rate and 1% click rate. The subject line was
Win Big at AJF Casino Night! 🎉🎟️ Check Out Our Amazing Raffle Prizes! |
I know it's a bit long, but this is the first of the four sends that teases gifts we'll raffle off. We also have 95% desktop users.
Thank you!!

Hi @CLCSchoolPrograms! Overall, I think this is a great email that serves a clear purpose.
Here are a few refinements to enhance clarity and flow:
-
On the first page, the poker chips image appears quite large. Consider scaling it down slightly for better balance. The same applies to the raffle tickets image—reducing its size a bit and aligning it with the poker chips image above would create a more cohesive look.
-
You mention "Register Now," but there's no direct link or button in that section. It might be more effective to combine the two sections and include a clear, prominent button to encourage registrations.
-
On the second page, where you highlight the prizes, consider un-bolding the descriptor text. The focus should be on the images rather than the text. Additionally, breaking up the sections could help prevent visual overload, as the page is quite image-heavy. Think about what you want to draw the most attention to and let that element stand out. Also, ask yourself, "Do I need all of this?" especially if you'll be sending more emails about the event.
-
Lastly, a small stylistic tweak—consider centering the final line, "Visit us at…," so it fits neatly on one line. This will improve readability and create a smoother visual flow.
Let me know if I can help further!
