We would love the ability to create automation sequences based around a specific end date (in our case, a class!). We have used other email service platforms where you could send an event day and time, and then set up emails to go out to a specific list (ie. class registrants) at specific times in relation to the date we set (like 2 weeks before, 3 days before, 30 minutes before, 24 hours after, etc). We used this feature ALL the time, and there's no way for us to achieve that or anything like that on Constant Contact.

Hello @GeorgeG073 ,
In all honesty, based on what you're describing it sounds like you'd be better off setting up an event for these classes. That way when a contact registers, they'll be in the queue of emails you've set up for the event reminding of the upcoming date, things to bring, location, etc. For the email that would send 24 hours after, you'd just add your registrants as contacts to a list that already has an email scheduled for it, outside of the event.

Is there a way to use the Events feature but get around people having to register through Constant Contact? We have a personal website where people are registering/paying.
You can manually register them after you've collected their data from your site. To be honest, the bare minimum we'd need is an email address and name for the event's registration.
They don't even have to technically become a full contact if you don't want them to, by not including an option for them to join a specific list, anyone who you're registering that isn't already a contact would only be able to be communicated with via emails built for the specific event campaign.
