Event Release: Event capacity & add-ons

Happy Monday! Have you heard there’s a couple new Event features that’ll make registering for your event even easier?

Event capacity setting:

  • Set a capacity limit for your event to manage the number of tickets you distribute. Once this limit is reached, ticket sales will be halted and registration will close.

Customize how tickets, add-ons, and contact information are labeled:

  • When selecting tickets, add-ons, or registration fields you can alter their default title to fit the type of event you’re organizing.

So what does this mean for you?

If you have multiple ticket types for your event (e.g. general admission, VIP, Kids 12 & Under) you can set a general limit so regardless of how many of each ticket type is purchased, once that limit is reached it will close registration for all types.

Or, when editing the titles for tickets, add-ons, or registration fields you could call tickets “Workshop Sessions” or add-on could be called “Available Upgrades.” Instead of contact information, it could be called “Volunteer Information.”
