Adding a Zoom Meeting Invitation that automatically opens up on Outlook Calendar

Hi there, looking for some help on this: I'd really like to be able to add a Zoom meeting invitation in a Constant Contact email. Not a link that just opens up to meeting, but one that will automatically add the Zoom invitation to their outlook calendar. Is this feature possible on Constant Contact or has anyone successfully attempted this? I'd appreciate any direction on this if anyone has some tips and tricks.

Hello @user57823 ,

ICS files and similar add to calendar functionalities are not an available insert option for emails at this time. It'd need to be a link to the Zoom meeting, or you'd need to utilize either an RSVP block or make an event for that Zoom link to be part of their add-to-calendar functionalities.

Thanks William.

Another question - I've read into the RSVP blocks, and it says "the information added to the brief description is visible on a personal calendar if your contact clicks the "add to calendar" link on the "Thank You" page and downloads the ICS file." But where would I even add the ICS file here? If I add a Zoom link, it just opens up to the meeting itself which isn't our goal. The instructions here make it seem like I should be able to edit the thank you page & add the ICS file somewhere so that the receiver can add it to their calendar, but I'm having difficulty doing that.

You aren't adding the ICS file, it's being pre-generated based on the info you include in the RSVP block. The thank you page is not editable, which is why there's no instructions on how to do so in the linked article.

If I understand this Q&A correctly, there is not a pathway to automatically send a calendar invite to participants who have responded "they will attend" using the RSVP box.
