Can I create static subject lines for Reply to emails?

When creating newsletters, we have various events going on at the same time. We like to have people RSVP via a Reply-to email directly to our Dining Room Manager. Is there a way to set the subject line in a response email? For instance, someone clicks on the link to send a response email, I want the subject line to say "RSVP for December 12th event" or "RSVP for Steve's Retirement party" so when the response comes into the managers email, they know exactly what event is RSVP'd for. Is this possible in Constant Contact? Thank you!

Hello @SkyValleyClub ,

For this functionality, I'd recommend setting up a mailto: style link in your email. You can use text or an image for the link, but the best would be a button. Following the advice in our article on inserting mailto: links, you can setup a pre-made email for the reply. The pre-made elements will obviously include whatever address you wish your contacts to be emailing, but you can also include a subject line and body.

As a simple example, you could use this for the mailto: link:

DiningRoomManager'sAddress@YourAddress.com?subject=RSVP%20for%20Steve's%20Retirement%20party&body=I'm%20interested%20in%20attending!
