Many people now (under 35 years old) do not have FB.
CC currently does not allow IG to connect unless you own a FB account.
So you are missing out on an entire age demographic by not allowing us to connect our IG account independently.
When will CC allow IG to connect independently?
Hello @DougS51 ,
Due to the way the Meta (which own Facebook and Instagram) API works, your Insta page will need to be connected to your FB business page in order for us to connect to your applicable pages. Make sure to also confirm that the Instagram page is truly a business one, not a creator type.
You may also wish to reach out to Facebook or Instagram's support if your business page continues not to show on your Facebook business manager, as there may be some other restriction on either one preventing it from being accessible on our side.

Sync your social media accounts to create social posts through your Constant Contact account
That’s all well and good, but I do not have a Facebook account. I only have an Instagram account. Hence, the reason why I cannot attach my Instagram account to Constant Contact because it requires me to have a Facebook account. It would be awesome to be able to not get a Facebook account attach my end Instagram to it and then come back to Constant Contact to post just on my Instagram, there seems to be way technologically to figure this out
You may want to reach out to Meta / Facebook / Instagram support to see if you can add your name to the people requesting a split in the API requirements. Beyond that, our hands are going to be tied on complying with Meta's requirements for API usage.
Since you made that statement, would you be able help me with some contact information at Meta then?
Solid email address for the subject matter?
I wouldn't have that. You're welcome to check Meta's support to see what your options for voicing your opnion on their API are.
Defiantly not my world, hence the guidance and help in this area.
