Create a segment of contacts by choosing specific criteria

I am creating a simple segment based on region, which I assigned region numbers to each contact.  But it's clearly not collecting all of them.  For example I have a bout 400 contacts identified to be in region 5 (this is a custom field).  But it only put 24 in the segment. I tried both "is" and "contains".  Both had the same result. The region field only has a single number in it.

The devs are looking into this issue with segmenting custom fields, and I've tracked it to your account. If and when there's an update regarding the issue, they'll notify you directly.

In the meantime, the only workaround in your particular situation would be to search based on region number, and if needing to send to specific regions, add contacts to corresponding "Region #" lists.

Okay, that's what I will do.  I will make new lists based on region.  That doesn't take too much time. I appreciate you looking into this.

@William_A, I am also having trouble with segments.  I created a segment today, and it looks like it's not pulling from our full contact list.  This was a workaround since Tags aren't working, so I'm stuck again now.
