We just sent out an email to some of our contacts last night, with an email address in our body text, and while we did not hyperlink the email, and it does not show it is hyperlinked in our draft or on our Clicks Analytics or give us any reports for it, the misspelled email in our message was hyperlinked in our recipients' inboxes regardless of their email provider (gmail, msn, etc) and their emails are bouncing as a result. Maybe we just don't have our settings straight, but this should not be an automatic process, right?

Depending on the email program or device they're using, anything detected as a webpage address or email address will be auto-linked, if it wasn't already linked. This is not something we can control unfortunately, as it is occurring on the end of other systems.
