I have an event coming up where we want to provide attendees with an option to sign up (via QR code).
I would like to be able to create a signup form that tags the people that use it. I would then want these tagged people to go through a special post-event automation sequence.
However, looking through other questions, it seems like you can't tag contacts through a landing page. I've seen requests for this dating back to 2022, yet this is still not a feature (I know this is possible in other competing products, as I've implemented it before, but our org is using Constant Contact).
What are my options?
Do I need to create a separate list for these people? Have them sign up, run through the automation, then when that's complete I can tag them and move them into our main list (to eliminate duplicates that contribute to record count)?
Is there another way that requires less manual work?

Hello @L058373 ,
If they're going through a sign-up landing page, you can have the list associated with that SULP be linked to a list-add automation. If they're going through an event registration, you can either set up the registration form to put people who click the opt-in checkmark box to go into a specific list to trigger the automation, or you can manually add those registrant contacts to the automation list.

Thank you for your response. My understanding of what you said is that yes, I need to create a separate list (which means I may end up with the same people being in multiple lists.)
