I want an open answer box but when I save the survey and send a test, I am getting Open Answer boxes with three boxes not one. I can't send it out like this as it looks like I'm asking for three replies. Help! I need to get the survey out tonight.

I just figured it out, William. Like you suggested, I copied the survey and renamed it, deleted the question (figured that out!), added it back in with the Open Answer BLOCK, and it gives the box correctly.
Thank you so much for your help and your patience! I love the tool and hope to use it more.
Hello @JoanneM1 ,
When you previously setup the survey, were those questions setup as multiple choice instead of open answer? If you copy the survey, delete those questions, and drag the open answer question types over directly, does that alleviate the issue in your previews and active form?
They were set up as Open Answer. Yes, I'm a rookie with this.
And I've copied the original survey, gave it a new name, and cannot seem to delete the questions to re-enter them, if that will help.
If you copy the survey, delete the affected questions, and replace them with the open answer, does it resolve the issue? Or, does rebuilding the survey resolve the issue- or does the issue persist into the fresh, new version as well?

Glad to hear it worked out, it was probably some unfortunate leftover background coding from the question type being changed the first time.
