If a subscriber is on more than one list and I send to both lists, are they getting duplicate emails

Hello @Halakar_Marketing ,

If you're sending a single email campaign to multiple lists, our system checks for any contacts (unique email addresses) in multiples of those lists. That way a contact is only receiving the email once, unless otherwise explicitly prompted for an automated or manual resend.

That's what I thought, but I wanted to make sure.  I've had people tell me they get more than one of the emails I send sometimes even though I don't have multiple email addresses for the same person in my Contacts.  Must be a fluke.  Thanks!
