Hi,
I'd like to set up a pop-up on a landing page that will allow a customer to give up their email for some information (a pdf or link) but they only get the pdf or file AFTER the email is verified, otherwise people can put in a fake email and get the info anyway. Can anyone help me with this? Thanks, Mike

Here's a drilldown of the standard process for setting this stuff up:
- Create the list you want associated with your form and automations
- Create a custom landing page, add the usual elements like your logo, coloring, etc. Then add a bit of text thanking them for verifying, and link to the PDF. Make sure to set its expiration date as far in the future as you're able (up to 1 year out at a time), or for the exact date you no longer want this accessible. Activate the custom landing page.
- Remember if you want the PDF offer to continue into perpetuity that you'll want to regularly update the expiration date for the CLP.
- Create your automation series to confirm the address is real. Set the trigger to When a Contact Joins a List, and select the list you made for this operation.
- Create the singular email step for this automation, and set it up as you would normally do a welcome email. Include a big obvious button that links to the custom landing page. Preview and test send it to confirm it all works and looks right, then activate.
- Create the pop-up form and activate it.
- Add the universal code to your site / the particular webpage you want it to show. Test that entering an email address into the pop-up form will result in you receiving the automation and being able to access the PDF on the confirmation CLP.
If you want the contacts signing through this pop up form to also be on another list separate from the PDF stuff, I'd suggest adding click segmentation when you're setting up that confirmation link in the automation email.

Hello @Mike_Ricci_D3 ,
There's nothing on our end to accomplish that.
You can try going about it by confirming they have a real address through something like an automation email, such as requiring they click a link in that followup to their signup. Then continue from there by sending another automation with your PDF, triggered by that link being clicked.
