PDF File will not upload

I have a 14 page pdf document that is about 20,000 KB. When I try to upload it fails because "files must be smaller than 5 MB." I have tried uploading while editing an email and also directly into the library. with either method, I receive the same error.

Thank you for reaching out to the Community! That error is correct as 20,000 KB is larger than 5 MB. You may want to use a third party software to reduce the size of your file before you upload it into the account. Thanks!
