how do i pull survey responses where the survey is embedded in email?

True survey pages are their own thing, so they can only be linked to in emails. Based on your wording, I assume you actually mean Poll and RSVP blocks? Those block types in emails are going to be tied to those specific emails' reporting pages. As such, their reporting data for clicks will be viewable and exportable via those specific emails' reports.
