We just got our SMS number and are wanting to send out a message soon. We originally selected the 0-500 messages a month tier. If we are going to send 1,200 contacts one message per month we would need to be in the 1001-2500 tier correct? One contact=one SMS/month correct?

Hello @MelissaS4660 ,
The message caps are measured by the number of messages sent. This includes auto-replies, if your message has to be split due to character limits, etc. If you intend to send one message within the 160-character limit to all 1200 contacts once per month, then the 1k-2.5k tier would safely cover you. If your message is long enough that it ends up being two texts, combined with any auto-replies, then you'd be risking going over into the 2.5k-5k tier.
