SMS and Email unsubscribe?

If someone replies stop to an SMS, will they also be unsubscribed from emails if their number and address are synced in the database? Does the same apply vice versa?

Hello @EMMLancaster ,

 

They are counted as separate. So if a contact is subscribed for both SMS and email, if they were to unsubscribe from one, it wouldn't affect the other subscription.
