Set image sizes for email template for consistency

I am trying to create more consistency for the images in my newsletters and announcements.  While the builder lets you slide and move the size of the image, I'm not seeing a way to find out what size it actually is, and then ensure the other images are the same size. Is there a way to see the actual dimensions of the image to ensure consistency?

Hello @ONE_Orinda ,

Dragging out or in the image block doesn't change its' metadata resolution, it essentially just adjusts how the image will appear in the desktop version of the email. If you're wanting to set your images to a very explicit resolution for the sake of consistency, it's advised you use the image editor to save a copy of that image with those chosen dimensions.

Thanks, William.  I'm not sure if it's the resolution I'm worried about or really just how it displays in the desktop version.  If for example, the photos are squares, I want them to appear as the same size in the email.  I can't do that by eye and ensure they are accurate.  If I set the size in the image as you suggested, will that ensure they insert at that correct size each time?

If you utilize the cropping or resolution adjustments available in the image editor, that will ensure consistency for the images when you initially add them to your emails, but if you drag the corner in or out for further adjustments in the email, then it won't maintain the set resolution.

Is there any other way inside the email editor to see the actual size dimensions of the image?  Seems like there should be.  I can't be the only person who is having this issue in trying to get a unified look.

Per the link provided earlier, you can view the image's exact dimensions prior to uploading on your device, as well as in the Library after uploading. Its resolution is also present in the image editor. Beyond that, there's nothing else showing an image's exact dimensions at this time.

It's not the resolution I'm concerned about.  It's the proportional size of the image as it relates to the text. That's a different issue than resolution.

What I'm saying is that manually setting the image's reslution via the image editor is what will ensure you have absolute consistency in your images' sizing when you add them to the editor.

Otherwise, using the dragging method to resize them within the email editor will not give you precise dimensions for sizing, you'd have to eyeball it.
