The unsubscribe option is showing my personal email instead of the recipient email

I sent multiple test emails (to different people), and it keeps sending my personal email as the email to unsubscribe to. I looked at emails I had sent previously (In other years), and it appears as if the code is different at the bottom of the page. The pervious option was listed as this Unsubscribe {recipient's email}, whereas the current option listing is Unsubscribe [[emailaddress]].

I have checked all the setting and I no matter what I change it stays the same in the sent email.

Hello @JenniferB26304 ,

Test emails will show the main account address. When you actually send the email out live, it will show the contact's email address.

For more info regarding unsubscribes

I am having the same problem. Our newsletter comes from an info @email yet at the bottom it says to unsubscribe from my personal email at the company. I understand this should change when it goes live, but we sent a newsletter in March and now people that unsubscribed are not receiving personal emails. Everything is set up that the sending email should be the info@ email. Please help as we have a November newsletter we want to send but I don’t want to lose people that just want to unsubscribe from newsletter style emails versus business related emails they need to receive. Thank you!

Hello @user670419 ,

Using the Update Profile system, you can include this as an alternative link in your email footer, which contacts can select to update their list membership, based on the lists you make viewable and editable. If multiple list options are available in your UP form, those options will also appear on the unsubscription confirmation page, as an alternative for contacts that click the unsub link in the footer.

Remember that not all lists need to be included in the UP / unsub setup. Contacts will only be able to manipulate their list membership for the ones you've explicitly selected to be available, viewable options. Contacts will simply see those available lists' names on the UP form / unsub confirmation page, and be able to decide if they'd prefer one of those.
