Trouble Editing Text

In certain text boxes, the editing menu disappears when I highlight text. It's almost as though it thinks it is an image. It is text that I copied and pasted from a Word doc, like in most of my other text boxes. This has never happened before and seems glitchy. Does anyone know why?

Hello @AnnM70 ,

Try pasting in the text without any formatting (CTRL SHIFT V on  PC, CMD SHIFT V on Mac), or first paste into a program like Notepad to erase any formatting, and then copy the cleared Notepad text.
