Users seem to be selecting all poll options

Hi there, We have a poll on our bi-weekly newsletter, but it seems like some users are reported as clicking all 5 options. Is this because of company email filters and it is checking every link and that is recording it as a click? Curious if anyone else has encountered this and if there are any workarounds! Thanks!

Hello @FirstNameL71312 ,

Correct, this will be indicated by those contacts clicking all the poll options at the same time, typically within 1-2 minutes of you sending the email. There isn't really a workaround, as that's how those security programs are built to function. Unfortunately, the only way to avoid this would be to not send to those contacts, or you'd need to export the poll data and manually scrub their responses within a spreadsheet program.

I understand your assumption, but how is it that every time the majority selects multiple options? and that too within the same time stamp.

We always struggle with the poll results, as they are never accurate. Please advise on how to get the poll right with one clear answer out of the 3 choices?

Hi @KhurramM. If the multiple clicks are the result of a security program, then we are not able to determine which was the correct answer for the contact. If you have access to the survey tool, you can use this instead. However, surveys are not built into emails like polls are and they are a separate page your contact will need to visit.
