Write with AI button pushes trash can off the screen

The Write With AI button takes up far too much real estate! I can no longer see the trash can button in the task bar now when I click on a text box. Before I could see the trash can if I made the browser window fill my entire screen (which I don't like to do), but now that doesn't even work. My display zoom is set at 100%. In order to delete the text box I wanted to delete, I had to drag it to a new position.

We should not have to jump through hoops to see the entire task bar on an item. The trash can icon is important (more useful that the Write With AI, which I DO NOT WANT) and not having it easily available is terrible for workflow. And I shouldn't have to zoom my window out to see it either.

Surely you can figure out how to make the task bar not run off customer's browser windows.

Hello @KBC_NC ,

If your screen is shrunk down or zoomed in particularly high, it can cause portions of the toolbar to either require scrolling to, or selecting the 3 dots extended toolbar for. For example, with my work laptop, this can occur depending on my level of zooming in:

100% view:

125% view:

150% view:

If you're not seeing the trash can icon, you may need to scroll to the right, or either zoom in / out another level so the toolbar can adjust automatically.

I do not have the option to scroll, nor do I have the three dot menu. As I said, my zoom is at 100% view. This is what I see. I'm in Chrome for Mac.

Then you'll either need to zoom in or out one step (CMD - or CMD + on Mac).

That is incredibly customer-unfriendly. So I now have to keep going back and forth on the zoom (because if I leave it zoomed out, the type is too small), so you can shove a giant AI button in there to the expense of a more functional and useful tool? Did no one test this taskbar on various platforms before instituting it? Or are we just collateral damage? It's so frustrating when "improvements" make the product interface less useful.

There is a ton of variation based on devices' screen sizes, their users' personally picked resolutions, and their chosen zooms for their browser screen. Add to that anyone running any extensions or browser settings that would affect default text sizes and fonts to override the styles used by a site, and it makes it functionally impossible to test every conceivable variation.

As you might've noticed from my initial response, my 100% zoom does display the full toolbar, but my 125% doesn't. In your case, your 100% zoom, when bringing in those other factors, doesn't display the full toolbar. At your device's current zoom, screen size, and resolution combination, you are having issues seeing the full toolbar. Therefore, your options would be to either adjust your resolution, your zoom level, or both.
