If you're going to be pasting text into the email editor, I'd advise clearing all of its formatting beforehand in a plain text editor (such as Notepad). This can be done by simply pasting the text into that program first. Then copy the text from that program, then go to the email editor and paste-without-formatting (easily done as CTRL+SHIFT+V on PC or CMD+SHIFT+V on Mac).
