When attempting to change and replace a subscribed contact's email address, we receive "This email address already exists in your account." The replacement email address does not appear in Contacts. Although the replacement email address was used by a previously deleted contact.

Hello @PeterT4965 ,

If a contact's email address has been locked in for that contact ID, then you won't be able to update its address, due to internal compliance and legal requirements for anti-spam. If your contact's email address cannot be edited, the other option would be import the new email address as a new contact with the proper contact fields, and delete the contact with the older email address.
