How to receive notification from Con Cont when anyone registers for event? I used to receive notifications when anyone signed up for one of my "Legacy" events. I've already had someone sign up for the "NEW" events, after April 1, 2024 - and I get no notifications. That's a problem. Constant Contact told me the live, legacy event calendar will be DISCONTINUED. Is this still the plan? Asking one more time, hoping CC has changed its mind, and before I do a TON of work to create a different calendar, loop that in, and drop in the link for EACH of 50+ events a year ... all so it can direct customers right back to CC, where they take a good chunk of $$. BTW, any particular reason CC you are dropping the live calendar? The live calendar is where we direct all customers. After March 2024, we don't yet know where we'll be directing them. My company has been using Constant Contact Happily for about three years. We’re shifting away now because constant contact is getting rid of the legacy events and are not keeping up with our timeline. We can only schedule through March now and that’s not sufficient. We might be able to work around the lag in time but the fact that you’re discontinuing the live calendar is a big no-go for us. We would send all of our clients to the live calendar link and they register through Constant Contact and you get a nice little bit of money for that. Because you’re getting rid of the live calendar and the inferior nature of the Beta events has us looking elsewhere. Will start with Google calendar and see how it goes from there. I really wish CC would leave things as they are, but numerous requests have gone unanswered or with unsatisfactory answers like, “the engineers have been working on it since 2021“.    other than that, we love Constant Contact. 😞 ... William, our business creates and posts, through Constant Contact, over 50 events a year. Will we be able to link all the events to a live calendar so our customers can browse there and register through Constant Contact? I don’t want to have to individually share an events link over and over. In the legacy version a live event calendar was easily activated by checking a box when the event was scheduled. As a current user of Constant Contact, I am reading everything I can find on the beta version that will go into affect in 2024. No where can I find information on: 1. How to link live events scheduled through Constant Contact ON A LIVE CALENDAR that customers may visit and use for their purchases. The current legacy version of Constant Contact has this and we rely heavily on our live calendar of events. I see no options in the 2024 beta events we’ve drafted to add events to alive calendar. 2. Once a beta event is created I’m asked to select from the drop-down list where subscribers information will be captured. It does NOT IMPORT MY CURRENT LIST of subscribers as an option. I chatted with Constant Contact rep today (8/22/23) and they: -Apologized many times -Said they don't know if/when the LEGACY events calendar may ever open up beyond 12/31/23 -Said there is a flaw in the BETA that does not allow events to be shared on live event calendar each business has thru Const. Cont.  -Confirmed that we can create 2024 and even 2025 events in the BETA - but that those events won't appear on our event calendar.    What are other businesses doing in response? From moderators comment above, it looks like LEGACY may never resume. Left with BETA and no live calendar link. The primary reason our company uses Constant Contact is to post events. We already have our complete 2024 Calendar laid out and we can’t let our customers know about it and I don’t know when we’ll be able to let our customers know about it. From the constant contact community chat this has been an issue for Constant Contact in 2021, 2022, and again in 2023.
